The Cellist of Sarajevo

A cellist plays Albinoni for twenty-two days in a Sarajevo street to honour twenty-two people killed by a mortar shell. Galloway follows three civilians trying to survive the siege. The music is not defiance — it is witness. This is siege fiction written as chamber music, each life a separate movement.
