WWII France Germany radio

Our Take

A blind French girl and a German boy are set on converging paths across occupied France. Doerr writes WWII as a series of small acts of love and destruction occurring simultaneously — the radio broadcasts, the diamond, the boy who reads science instead of following orders. The collision is both beautiful and inevitable.
